My work continues to be inspired by the physical and emotional impact that being in the landscape has on my senses. My focus being to create the atmosphere of the landscapes rather than representation of the places I have visited. Inviting the viewer to absorb what they see in the work .
This series of paintings have been inspired by my ongoing visits, research and continuing interest in the depth and beauty of our Northern Hemisphere’s cultures and landscapes.
