An exhibition of urban landscapes of Salford and beyond.
Living in Salford throughout its post-industrial years comes with it a conflict between seeing a city progress with affluence, opportunity and construction, and witnessing the demolition of its working class past.
These paintings represent a city's lost soul, preserved in the remnants of buildings that, at the time of writing, remain standing, bruised and weathered, out of date and out of place, in silent defiance against its rapidly changing landscape.
