Hannah Sawtell

Self employed illustrator working in Nottingham’s Sneinton Market Creative Quarter. Hannah explores combinations of conventional and non-conventional processes using colour to define elements of the composition with an appreciation of the line of the pen and the white space surrounding it remaining intact. Drawing, printing, stencil, paper cutting, and photography are used as a part of the process to produce unique and limited edition artworks. The relationship between locality, community and history is celebrated.
